- E-TECHLOG collects personal data entered by the user when filling out individual E-TECHLOG’s.
- User data (Email, first and last name)
- Non-Personal Data:
- App Usage Data: Anonymized information related to how users interact with the app, including any data entered for operational purposes.
- Device Information: Details such as device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
- Crash Reports: Automatically generated information if the app crashes during use.
2. How We Collect Data
Data is collected through user input forms and automatically generated reports related to the app’s performance and usage.
3. Purpose of Data Collection
We collect personal data for the following purposes:
- Evaluate the risk level of the operation for which the E-TECHLOG forms are filled out
- Store the selected mitigation for the flight
We collect non-personal data for the following purposes:
- To improve the performance, stability, and features of E-TECHLOG.
- Anonymized data may be used in future developments of related applications, including our Safety Management System, to enhance aviation safety for all pilots.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law or necessary for the functionality of E-TECHLOG, in which case, all shared data will be anonymized.

Data Security: We employ various security measures, including industry-standard encryption, firewalls, and restricted access protocols, to protect any data collected.
6. Data Storage
All personal and company data are stored on secure servers located in Switzerland. Anonymized data like crash reports and log data are stored in the European community. Data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, after which it will be securely deleted.
7. User Rights
Personal data:
- Collected personal data are available via my.ngft.com dashboard.
- Deletion of personal data can be requested via an email to support@ngft.com.
- Data will only be deleted if they are no longer required by law or the linked company (if any)
Non-Personal Data:
- The fully anonymized data cannot be linked to individual users, which is why no access or deletion rights apply to them
8. Opt-Out Options
E-TECHLOG does not currently offer opt-out options for data collection, as this data is essential for improving app functionality. However, we will regularly review this policy to assess the need for future opt-out mechanisms.
9. Legal Basis for Data Processing
We process user data based on our legitimate interest in improving our services and ensuring the correct operation of E-TECHLOG.
10. Children’s Privacy
E-TECHLOG is not intended for persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If such data is inadvertently collected, it will be promptly deleted.
