Pricing ATO Manuals

EASA FCL requires for Training Organizations to have a set of manuals to describe how training is performed and what needs to be covered in each course. There are two different types of ATO:

Section I: covering all the basic courses (PAPL, PPL) incl. IR
Section II: including higher licenses like CPL, ATPL and Type Ratings for complex aircraft

CAMO Manuals

The scope of the CAMO is to organize and manage all documents and publications for Maintenance Organizations Part 145 and Part M approved, like development and management of aircraft maintenance programs fulfilled. A CAMO must also provide record keeping of maintenance performed.

In other words, a CAMO provides a service for aircraft maintenance organizations. EASA has the power to give CAMO second privileges also but not in all cases. These second privileges allow the CAMO to conduct airworthiness review on aircraft, issue (or recommend for issue) Airworthiness Review Certificates and issue ‘permit to fly’ for maintenance check flights.

SPO Manuals

EASA SPO requires operators performing Specialized Operations to have a set of manuals to describe how their operation is performed. Special Operations are divided into high-risk and non-high-risk operations.
